The importance of God’s remembrance

In the name of God

The importance of God’s remembrance

In Islamic ethics, principle is attention to the God & principally, God’s remembrance make the spirit of all obeys and Worships and Ethic Worth; so we want to discus on this subject.

From Islamic viewpoint, the source of spiritual ability for human being and only his factor of prosperity are attention to the God and being to his remembrance. Such as all of the human being suffering, even all of the ethics rascals and spiritual illnesses are result from God’s forgetting.

In Islamic teaching are different instructions which Muslims must remember God by them, until the routine don’t make him inattentive from God.

Daily prayer is one of the important subjects that take out the mind & spirit of human from routine issue and turns to the God. If this religious duty has don according to the instructions said in religious Law, exactly and by heart presence, pay attention to the meaning of word; prepare the remembering of God in future time, like that person be in God remembering for every time and every where, not only in blessing.

Put emphasize on (prayer) in Islamic instructions is from another subject which cause the increase of human attention to the God.

Our Holy Quran more & more invite the faithful to this order until the faithful enjoy from its advantages & blessing; for example:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ ذِكْرًا كَثِيرًا ﴿41﴾ Ahzab
o you who believe! Remember Allah, remembering frequently.

In other place says:

فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِكُمْ ﴿ /nisa103﴾

then when you have finished the prayer, remember Allah standing and sitting and reclining.

Came in will of Imam Ali & Imam Hasan:
وکن لله ذاکراً علی کل حال
Remember Allah in every condition

The Scientific Miracles of the Quran

Fourteen centuries ago, God sent down the Quran to mankind as a book of guidance. He called upon people to be guided to the truth by adhering to this book. From the day of its revelation to the Day of Judgment, this last divine book will remain the sole guide for humanity.
The matchless style of the Quran and the superior wisdom in it are definite evidence that it is the word of God. In addition, the Quran has many miraculous attributes proving that it is a revelation from God. One of these attributes is the fact that a number of scientific truths that we have any been able to uncover by the technology of the 20th century were stated in the Quran 1400 years ago.
Of course the Quran is not a book of science. However, many scientific facts that are expressed in an extremely concise and profound manner in its verses have only been discovered with the technology of the 20th century. These facts could not have been known at the time of the Quran's revelation, and this is still more proof that the Quran is the word of God.
In order to understand the scientific miracle of the Quran, we must first take a look at the level of science at the time when this holy book was revealed.
In the 7th century, when the Quran was revealed, Arab society had many superstition and groundless beliefs where scientific issues were concerned. Lacking the technology to examine the universe and nature, these early Arabs believed in legends inherited from past generations. They supposed, for example, that mountains supported the sky above. They believed that the earth was flat and that there were high mountains at its both ends. It was thought that these mountains were pillars that kept the vault of heaven high above.
However all these superstitious beliefs of Arab society were eliminated with the Quran. In the second verse of chapter ar-Rad, it was said: "God is He who rose up the heavens without any support …" This verse invalidated the belief that the sky remains above because of the mountains. In many other subjects, important facts were revealed at a time when no one could have known them. The Quran, which was revealed at a time when people knew very little about astronomy, physics, or biology, contains key facts on a variety of subjects such as the creation of the universe, the creation of the human being, the structure of the atmosphere, and the delicate balances that make life on earth possible.

Islam & violence

Islam & violence
Author: Hafizullah Asghari
Violence is one of headline which negotiates western people about it.
In 21th century there is a great numerous of argument about Islam and violence; in many societies people think that Islam causes a lot of difficulties such as jihad, suicide & bombing.
I can say that many people in many countries think that Islam causes the violence.
They (especially atheist) Imagine Islam causes violence & people often kill other human beings because they believe that the creator of the universe wants them to do it (the act will ensure them an eternity of happiness after death). Examples of this sort of behavior are practically innumerable, jihadist suicide bombing being the most prominent.
Western people say that Quran Introduces God very rough, Vindictive & Violence while God is introduced in Bible Very gentle, kind & merciful.
Is this the reality that holy Quran Introduces God As western people says?! Of course not
I answer that God has two traits:
1. God is kind & merciful.
2. God has the trait of wrath.
The first trait for God is kindness & the second one is wrath, it means that the kindness is the first & before anger and wrath, there must be reason to become angry. Hence fist of all our God is kind & merciful at the second time he will retaliate those who don`t obey the Islamic law based on wisdom, Islam must punish the cruelty persons firmly in special points because expediency of society.
Violence mixed to nature of every creature
As you know the violence is at nature of every creature among of creature is human being, we can find violation during the history of human being, nowadays we can find violation in every society with any kinds of religion & we can`t deny it.
Instate of denying violence it is better to ask what can we do with violence? Is it possible to get violence at our service?
I can say yes, it`s completely possible. In order to get the violence at our service we should refer to Islamic laws & commandments.
As you know Islam is the best religion & the complete way of life, all of Islamic laws are based on wisdom. Islam is the religion which is sent by God, God creates the mankind, hence he completely knows the action & behavior of human, he knows how can make security to a society. That is why Islam established law against criminals to control violation and wild people in order not to loss another.
So Islam doesn`t completely support violence, and Islam is not completely against violence, Islam got the violence at the service of people, as we have many examples during the history of Islam.
Muslims don`t believe violence at first time, but it doesn`t mean that we blame violence for controlling violence in order not to tyrannize, it is ok if use violence to prevent cruelty, murders, aggression & violation.
Action of Islam over heresy
When we take a look at Islamic sources we immediately understand that Islam completely accepts the legal violence.
The action of our innocent leaders (Aemmah P.B.U.TH.) especially Imam Ali & Imam Husain confirm it clearly.
Islam invites all of human being to guidance & salvation but the capitalist were always against Islam & prophet. They used different kinds of violation to prevent prophet from preaching & to prevent the ordinary people from guidance.
In order to broadcast Islamic religion it is unavoidable to fight against these kinds of dictators, it shows that Islam is the religion of kind and merciful, at second time if any one threat the security of people he/she must be controlled and must be punished.
Action of Islam over criminals
Freedom means: The right to do what you want without being controlled or restricted by the government, police etc.
Violence means: behavior that is intended to hurt other people.
Any one of freedom & violence has exceptions; we don`t have freedom in every fields and no body allow to violate any where, one of the exceptions for violence is that if some body commit a crime or threat the security of ordinary people he/she must be controlled, it means violence but this kind of violence is not forbidden, because the violence is to behave roughly against the right of other persons controlling these kinds of persons are not violence, if a government behave him/her kindly it means that government confirm criminals & encourage them to do a lot of crimes.
At last I can say: as a Muslim that Islam doesn`t cause the violence at the contrary I can say that Islam controlled the violence & got the violence at service of people.

violence in islam

hello
Violence in Islam
Our point, of course, should not be taken to imply that all faithful and devout Muslims, must become violent, in order to be true to the teachings of Islam. We will not hesitate to say that the vast majority of the Muslim world condemns acts of terror and violence. There are many schools of thought in Islam with various and often conflicting interpretations of the Qur'an. However, the important distinction that we are making is this: the minority groups in Islam who resort to violence, are not an aberration to Islam, but in fact can legitimately claim to be working within the basic parameters of Islamic Jihad. We will now turn to the evidence in support of our claim.
The following are only some of the verses in the Qur'an that can and have been used in the history of Islam in support of violence in the name of God and the glories of martyrdom in a holy war.
2:190-193 "Fight in the cause of God those who fight you ... And slay them wherever ye catch them ... And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression and there prevail justice and faith in God ..."
2:216 "Fighting is prescribed for you and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But God knoweth and ye know not."
2:224 "Then fight in the cause of God and know that God heareth and knoweth all things."
3:157-158 "And if ye are slain or die in the way of God, forgiveness and mercy from God are far better than all they could amass. And if ye die, or are slain, Lo! It is unto God that ye are brought together."
3:169 "Think not of those who are slain in God's way as dead. Nay, they live finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord."
3:195 "... Those who have ... fought or been slain, verily I will blot out from them their iniquities and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath; a reward from the presence of God ..."
4:101 "... For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies."
4:74, 75 "Let those fight in the cause of God who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of God whether he is slain or gets victory, soon shall we give him a reward of great (value). Those who believe fight in the cause of God and those who reject faith fight in the cause of evil, so fight ye against the friends of Satan, feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan."
4:89 "They but wish that ye should reject faith as they do, and thus be on the same footing as they. But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of God. But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them…"
4:95 "Not equal are those believers who sit at (at home) and receive no hurt and those who strive and fight in the cause of God with their goods and their persons. God hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than those who sit (at home).
5:36 "The punishment of those who wage war against God and His apostle and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land. That is their disgrace in this world and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter."
5:54 "O ye who believe. Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors. They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily God guideth not a people unjust."
8:12-17 "Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you. Give firmness to the believers. I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips off them. This because they contend against God and his apostle. If any contend against God and his apostle, God is strict in punishment ... O ye who believe. When ye meet the unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. If any do turn his back to them on such a day, unless it be a stratagem of war ... he draws on himself the wrath of God and his abode is Hell, an evil refuge (indeed)."
8:59-60 "Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly). They will never frustrate (them). Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of God and your enemies and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom God doth know ..."
8:65 "O apostle! Rouse the believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred. If a hundred they will vanquish a thousand of the unbelievers, for these are a people without understanding."
9:5 "... fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war) ..."
9:14 "Fight them, and God will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame ..."
9:29 "Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and his apostle nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth (even if they are) of the people of the Book, until they pay the Jizya [religious tax] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."
47:4 "Therefore, when ye meet the unbelievers, smite at their necks, at length when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them) ... but if it had been God's will, he could certainly have exacted retribution from them (himself), but (he lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the way of God, he will never let their deeds be lost."
61:4 "Truly God loves those who fight in His cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure."
However violence is against the people who fight Moslems

Mutual responsibility in society

No form of life can be satisfactory in which every individual is bent on the enjoyment of his absolute freedom. Without bounds or limits, he might be led to expect such freedom by his belief in the absolute equality which exists between himself and all other individuals, in respect of all privileges; but also of the individual himself. For there is the important matter of the welfare of society, short of which the freedom of the individual must stop; there is also the private welfare of the individual himself, which entails his giving up freedom at certain specific limits.
Thus, on the one hand, he may not allow himself to be carried to extremes by his passions and appetites and pleasures. On the other hand, his freedom may not conflict with that of others. For when this latter takes place, it produces unending disputes, and makes liberty an unendurable burden, through it the growth and improvement of community life are checked by the claims of individual welfare, which is a much narrower interest.
Islam grants individual freedom in the most perfect form and human equality in the most exacting sense, but it does not leave these two things uncontrolled; society has its interest, human nature has its claims, but a value attaches also to the lofty aims of individual freedom; and beside them both it sets the principle of social responsibility, which makes demands alike on the individual and on society. This is mutual responsibility in society.

The concept of freedom in Islam

Human are, according to the Islamic perspective, created in the "image of God" and are also God's vicegerents (khalifah) on earth. But they are both, by virtue of their servitude to God which makes it possible for them to receive from Heaven and to administer on earth. By virtue of their centrality in the cosmic scheme, proven in reverse if proof is necessary for the sceptic by the nearly complete destruction they have brought upon the environment, they participate in the Divine freedom, and by virtue of being earthly creatures they are best by all the limitations which a lower degree of existence implies. God is both pure freedom and pure necessity. Man as the theophany of the Divine Names and Qualities, or as the "image of God", participates in both this freedom and this necessity. Personal freedom lies in fact in surrender to the Divine will and in purifying oneself inwardly to an ever greater degree so as to become liberated from all external conditions, including those of the carnal soul (nafs), which press upon and limit one's freedom.
Pure freedom belongs to God alone; therefore the more we are, the more are we free. And this intensity in the mode of existence cannot be reached sake through submission and conformity to the will of God who alone is in the absolute sense. There is no freedom possible through flight from and rebellion against the Principle which is the ontological source of human existence and which determines ourselves from on high. To rebel against our own ontological Principle in the name of freedom is to become enslaved to an ever greater degree in the world of multiplicity and limitation. It is to forfeit the illimitable expanses of the world of the Spirit for the indefinitely extended labyrinth of the psycho-physical world, where the only freedom is to pursue an ever more accelerated life of action devoid of meaning and end.
Infinity resides in the centre of our being, a center which is hidden from the vast majority of those who live on the periphery of the wheel of existence. Yet only at the centre we are free in an absolute and infinite sense. Otherwise each of us is limited in both our powers and rights by God, nature and other human beings. To seek infinity in the finite is the most dangerous of illusions, a chimera which cannot but result in the destruction of the finite itself. "Infinite freedom" exists only in the proximity of the Infinite. At all lower levels of existence freedom is conditioned by the limitations of cosmic existence itself and is meaningful only with respect to the limitations and obligations which the very structure of Reality imposes upon us.
